Grandpa's Book

In 1928, my Grandpa, Frank, was a Scout. He was also a keen rambler. It seems that he wanted to achieve some sort of rambling accolade with the Scouts because he completed eight long rambles and meticulously wrote them up in a notebook. This is the contents of that notebook. By coincidence, I now live along the route of that first walk, completed on Good Friday in 1928. Frank’s great-grand-daughter walks part of it every day in her great-grand-father’s footsteps.
